painted birch.
 
 The material thickness is 20 mm. Solid wood furniture is treated with oil wax, which beautifully emphasizes the wood's own pattern. The finished surface repels water and is also very resistant to dyes, e.g. juice, wine, coffee, etc. The oil-waxed surface is also highly resistant to abrasion and moisture. It is also completely safe for humans, animals and plants.
 
 The shade painted white is Tikkurila's Snow White S503.
